Namibia’s entrepreneurs, business owners and industry leaders will once again gather at Droombos Estate in Windhoek on 29 July 2026 as the Nedbank Future of Business Conference returns for its second edition.

Building on the success of its inaugural event, the conference has quickly established itself as one of the country’s leading platforms for owner-managed businesses and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The event is designed to provide practical business insights, meaningful networking opportunities and strategies that business leaders can immediately apply within their organisations.

This year’s programme brings together an impressive line-up of Namibian and international speakers, industry experts and business practitioners who will share their experiences through keynote presentations, panel discussions and real-world case studies.

Among the confirmed speakers are Sven Thieme, Chief Executive Officer of the Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group; Ida Williams, Economist at Cirrus Capital; and Khensani Nobanda, Group Chief Marketing Officer at Nedbank Group. They will be joined by several respected business leaders from Namibia and across Africa, offering delegates diverse perspectives on leadership, innovation, economic trends and business growth.

According to Nedbank Namibia’s Communications and Public Relations Manager, Selma Kaulinge, the conference reflects the bank’s continued commitment to supporting Namibia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

“At Nedbank Namibia, we believe that MSMEs are the backbone of our economy and key drivers of innovation, employment and sustainable growth. The Nedbank Future of Business Conference provides an important platform for entrepreneurs and business leaders to access valuable insights, build meaningful networks and explore opportunities that can help them grow and future-proof their businesses. We are proud to support an initiative that empowers Namibian enterprises with the knowledge, connections and inspiration needed to thrive in an evolving business landscape,” she said.

For Future Media Director Stefan Hugo, one of the driving forces behind the conference, the event is about creating lasting value beyond a single day.

“The conference is about connecting people and businesses, forging relationships and driving real transactions. We’re grateful to our partners for making it possible. Our focus is on high-quality content that delivers genuine value and on ensuring the learnings reach beyond the room. Ultimately, we want the conference to be a powerful enabler of the MSME community and a driver of economic growth in Namibia, because job creation has to happen through that,” Hugo said.

The conference registration fee is N$800 per delegate and includes access to all conference sessions, breakfast, lunch and the signature Future of Business cocktail networking evening, where delegates will have the opportunity to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, executives and decision-makers in an informal setting.

Tickets are available through PayToday, while the full conference programme and speaker line-up can be viewed on the Future of Business website.

As Namibia continues to strengthen its entrepreneurial landscape, the Nedbank Future of Business Conference aims to provide business owners with more than inspiration. It offers practical knowledge, valuable connections and a platform that supports the long-term growth of the country’s MSME sector.
